In line with ministerial regulations, there are 500 hours' worth of lessons each year; this includes an internship of 150 hours. The teaching is structured as follows:
SINGLE THEME CLINICAL and/or THEORETICAL SEMINARS
Conducted by an internationally renowned expert or by a group of experts.
Through a systemic-relational approach. All these courses are based on a systemic approach, some of which require the student to observe sections of or entire sessions by means of one-way mirror or video recordings. Other courses contain modules using contributions on specific topics from different approaches (cognitivist, psychoanalytical).
Conducted by teachers of our school on student's clinical cases or on clinical cases observed by the students during their internships. A limited number of supervisions are carried out together with a teacher from our school and a colleague with a cognitivist or psychoanalytical background.
Students are invited to reflect on aspects of their own lives which are important to the practice of psychotherapy. Each year focuses on a specific topic.
In public or private institutes. Our school has established 41 internship agreements mainly in Lombardy, but also in: Piemonte, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Trentino Alto Adige, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
